“He was honoured for his contribution to the medical field in the country, starting in 1957 as a Medical Practitioner at Mbereshi Mission Hospital in Luapula Province and later the Lusaka African Hospital. He became a specialist in Psychiatry and he was appointed Medical Superintendent for the Chainama Hills Hospital. He later became a Lecturer in Psychiatry in the School of Medicine in 1974 and was conferred Professorship in the field of Psychiatry as a result of his outstanding contribution.”
