“He was honoured for working in various organisations including the Establishment Division Confidential Registry where he used his position to steal confidential information and informed UNIP leaders what the Colonial Masters were planning. He was later suspended from work but he ran away because he was tipped that he would be arrested. He went and hid himself in one of the towns on the Copperbelt in 1959. Later he was involved in the Cha-Cha-Cha uprising and was beaten and and became unconscience. He woke up while he was being taken to the hospital mortuary.”
