“Whereby, you have organised and coordinated several high level meetings and visits between the European Union and Zambia, one of such, was the historical address to the European Parliament by the President of Republic of Zambia, being the first Zambian President to address the European Parliament in June, 2022. You co-ordinated the following: handover of the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA), state of the art national medicines quality control laboratory by the European Union Commissioner for international partnerships; and the first ever business forum in May, 200 and led a delegation from Bank Godpodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) and ASSECO group for a joint venture partnership with Zampost group to modernise its services. Whereby, you organised the following: the signing of the memorandum of understanding for the forest partnership; the reintroduction of budget support amounting to Euro 60 million; secured an extra Euro 30 million for the Kariba dam rehabilitation project; mobilised a further Euro 20 million for small holder farmers to mitigate the effects of the food security crisis; and facilitated the rapid response to Covid-19 in Zambia and secured EU contribution to the United Nations Development Plan Basket Fund. You helped launch an initiative called "Natwampane" to stop sexual and gender based violence. You also actively engaged in evacuating 150 Zambian students from Ukraine.”
