“He was honoured for rendering a distinguished service in education while serving as a Catholic Priest. Born on 31st December 1902, he was ordained as Priest on 29th June 1928. He was appointed Prefect Apostolic of Fort Rosebery (Mansa) on 12 November 1952 and was consecrated Bishop on 6th June 1961, He also served as a Priest in Kawambwa in Luapula Province.”
