“He was honoured for his significant contribution to the struggle of independence in Western Province. Upon the attainment of Independence, he was appointed District Governor for Mongu in Western Province in appreciation of his contributions. He promoted the Lozi culture by writing a book entitled ‘Kuomboka,’ which illustrates the movement of the Lozi King, the Litunga from the Lealui plains to the plateau at Limulunga. He died in September 2002 in Senanga, Western Province.”
