“He was honoured for the provision of funds to senior leaders of ANC and UNIP to keep them financially afloat when he was a businessman in Ndola and Mufulira. He was a founder member of ANC in Ndola. He also provided his two sons to work in the Civil Service. These were Sunday Kazunga and Fred Kazunga who held the positions of Secretary to the Cabinet and respectively of Permanent Secretary. Sunday Kazunga was served as a Diplomat in Europe.”
