“Lunda Ponda was involved in one of the clashes with Security Forces on Chilubi Island in 1959 whereby he sustained an industry and lost the sight in one eye. Since attainment of independence this noble fighter neither complained nor asked for compensation. His bravery and good conduct should be commended.”
