“He was honoured for rendering dedicated service and helped in the establishment of schools at St. Canisius College in Chikuni in 1949, St Patricks in Lusaka, and Agelina Tembo in Kabwe. Born in Bohemia in 1910, he came to Northern Rhodesia (Zambia) in 1940 and died in 1990 in Johannesburg, South Africa but was buried at Kasisi near Lusaka.”
