You have represented the country as ambassador in Washington DC, Germany, and Ethiopia and twice as ambassador and permanent representative of Zambia to the United Nations, New York. You served as special advisor to the African Union, Southern African Development (SADC) community, Great Lakes and Intergovernmental Authority for Development (IGAD). You were appointed by the president of the United Nations General Assembly to co-chair an open ended working group on the causes of the world financial crisis of 2008-2009 and you successfully provided recommendations on how to prevent similar occurrences. Your commitment and dedication to your duties in representing and serving Zambia is worthy of special commendation.”
